This is an article I wrote for the Home Education Special(UK)
web site. This is an organization of parents in Britain who have children with special educational needs.They have chosen to home educate because they are unhappy with the provision offered by the state education system.
- Understanding Autism
I wrote this for my trade union magazine, "The Teacher" in December 2000. I am a member of the National Union of Teachers and I had a very positive response from my NUT colleagues when the article first appeared. It was reprinted, with permission, in the journal of an Israeli teacher's union.
